Coffee please March 24, 2008

So i am a tad hung over… what do you expect?

                

I found the coffee maker once i woke up, which wasnt untill after noon. Last night was crazy, the party on the beach was sweet, there was live music and dancing, the beach and ocean were right there, it was perfect. I met a bunch of cool peeps and even a monkey! It was nice to talk to a monkey, even if he was a little less intelligent then myself (he was one of those little guys who rides around on peoples shoulders), but it made me realize that i do miss being with other monkeys.

So here I am living it up on planet earth! jeeze this swell- I’ve got my coronas and my limes (and my bananas), now im headed down to the beach for a party!

 Oh yes, and i do wear my sunglasses at night!

Space monkey on the high seas! March 22, 2008

so with the winnings I aquired in Vegas I decided to go on a tropical vacation…

I’m on a cruise ship headed to Fiji! i’ll get there tomorrow, for right now im enjoying the ocean, the sun, and the five star accomodations!

well i have no home, so i guess its a good thing i went big… Boy, did i clean house! 

I was pretty good at that game.. what was it called… oh yeah, poker! it was pretty sweet, i won a lot of dough if you know what i mean.  Now, what to spend it on?

So from the tree I spotted a large big-rig with Nevada plates… hmm i thought.. this could be a good chance to get away…

If this tire is goin’ where im thinking, this could be fun!

After several hours of unsuccesful telephone transmission I gave up… this is quite rare, space monkeys are usually quite determined and unlikely to give up, but i was definitely wasting my time with earth’s completely out-dated forms of communication. I was pretty bored and so far my visit to planet earth wasn’t going to great. There had to be fun stuff to do somewhere around here. There were some trees nearby so I decided to climb a tree and have a look around.

Although i am a space monkey, that does not mean i have lost any of my monkey-type talents, such as climbing trees with ease.

Space Monkey Phone Home March 18, 2008

i was able to push my way out of the newpaper repository and it was a little bit of a drop to the ground seeing that my rocket booster are out of fuel. I tried to comunicate with my fellow space apes and the command cent but it appears as though my inter-galactic comunicating device which is built into my space suit doesn’t recieve reception here on earth, too many interfering cell phone signals probably.. it seems like everyone on earth is on a cell phone all the time!

Anyway, I was able to locate a near by pay phone and tried to get a hold of somone on earth who could help me but the operator refused to connect me to NASA.

  NASA should have a special hot line number that extra-terrestrials like myself can call when they need assistance on earth. I guess this is just another example of the lack of funding the space program here on earth has, it seriously is lacking compared to other solar systems. 

a space monkey for FREE??? i think not! March 17, 2008

 the earthling family can to a conclusion and decided to get rid of me. It wasn’t yard sale season so they did the next best thing and put me in a box marked FREE outside where newspapers are sold. Oh the nerve of those people!

 

They thought they were being clever but i did not appreciate being equivalted to a cheap piece of newsprint, and i knew i definitely had to get out of there before i was taken for free! Can you imagine? the space suit i’m wearing alone costs well over half a million dollars!

in a little bit of trouble… March 15, 2008

So, the inhabitants of the dwelling where I had eaten all those scrumptious bananas found me… and they weren’t too happy. Actually they were probably more confused as to where I had come from, I tried to explain that I was a space monkey so it should only be obvious that I was from outer space, but they didnt believe me and decided that the talking monkey had to go. While they were discussing how they were going to get rid of me, i tried to sneak away but one of the children grabbed me. the little brat thought it would would be funny to wrap my head in a plastic bag… i did not find it funny but i could not escape. Since when were children so violent? i guess earth has changed since i was last here.

Luckily my space helmet has secret oxygen vents so i didn’t suffocate, but it appears that i am currently at the will of these crazy people.
